AB - The United States of America's National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) uses strategic engagement with key stakeholders such as the members of Federal Advisory Committees to develop, and improve national navigation, positioning and observation services, data, policies, strategies, objectives and action plans. This article highlights the means by which NOAA has been mobilizing stakeholders through the establishment of a NOAA Hydrographic Services Review Panel (HRSP) Federal Advisory Committee (FAC). The article provides information on the structure of the HSRP, its charter, and involvement with NOAA’s current and future issues and its recommendations.
